The Old Federal Road was traveled by all settlers coming out of the original 13 states around 1814 (after the Indian wars). These settlers wanted to attain land grants in the Mississippi Territory. This park is located within the city limits of Evergreen, Alabama, about 2 miles from downtown and brims with year-round activities, from family reunions to baseball games and community festivals.
