May 20 -May 23, 2010 – Monroe – Monroeville – 19th Annual performance of “To Kill a Mockingbird” on the downtown square. The two act version of this play is performed by an all-local cast , the Mockingbird Players, Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 7pm and Sunday matinee performances are the 5pm.

May 20, 2010 – Clarke – Thomasville – Thomasville Revitalization and Community Development Corporation will host a strawberry canning class on May 20th at 5 pm until 7pm – At the Wilkerson building upstairs – The class is free – For more information call 334-637-3379.

May 22, 2010 – Choctaw – Gilbertown – Randy Houser in concert – Gilbertown Sportsplex, Paragon Road ½ mile west of Alabama 17. Gates open at 5pm ShowTime at 7pm. Advance tickets $15 until May 21st, $25 day of the show. Children under 12 admitted free with paid adult. On sale at Gilbertown Town Hall and other locations. Riders will meet at Brown Chapel AME Church in Selma, AL, travel the historic route of the March, and end at the Alabama State Capitol at 7 am.
